Arsh Suri
I thrive on designing solutions that make a measurable impact and bridge biology and technology, using my foundation in both rigorous software development and scientific research.
I have pursued my passion for expanding our knowledge in computational biology by conducting scientific research at the Fermilab Particle Accelerator and Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute. I further fostered my technical computing skills through my Software Developer Internships at Schrodinger Inc. & Tandem AI, where I worked on generative AI drug discovery software platforms, gaining insights into how to apply ML & AI with cloud technologies.
These skills were bolstered by my research developing computational models for image processing at the University of Washington and the development of Light Curve Fitter, a software used to model star systems at the VATT Telescope, through my time abroad as a student at the University of Galway.Â
I also have launched fundraisers for causes like disabled pets and the Australian Wildfires, while receiving various awards for positively impacting my community with STEM through FIRST Robotics.
I am now a computational researcher at NASA iCOOL working with Dr. Anton Petrov to design bioinformatics web software to classify and visualize functions of non coding RNA's.
